I travelled into town to officiate a wedding. When I unpacked my bags, I realized that my ceremonial robes, stole, and hubby's dress shirt were wrinkled beyond redemption. Luckily, the ladies at the front desk of our hotel recommended Alex's Dry Cleaning. I called and spoke to Mark and explained my situation. He told me that I missed the cutoff for next day delivery...BUT...he would accommodate me! He told me to leave my items at the front desk, and he would take care of the rest. They did a remarkable job. Small details were fixed on vintage and regular items like pilling and smoothing of fake fur that other dry cleaners miss. I had a vintage coat that had small specks in it and they painstakingly removed all the specks so it looks good again. There was also nothing missing on a large order. They set clear expectations on my vintage items and on pricing. The pickup and delivery drivers were super helpful and considerate.

Alex’s saved the day! My daughter moved to SF and did no laundry or dry cleaning for a month. I showed up and couldn't figure out how I could help her given the tiny Euro washer/dryer in her apt. I called Alex’s. Within an hour they collected the 7 huge bags of laundry and dry cleaning. It was back the next morning. My daughter wears $$$ clothes. So it was a huge relief that they did impeccable and high quality job of washing, dry cleaning, and French laundry/press. I told my daughter she was caught up and could now do her laundry herself. Amazing dry cleaning and service. Today they saved a gorgeous velvet bed blanket that I got a few months ago. My dog threw up bile all over it today so the light sage velvet was covered in neon yellow when I dropped it off. They delivered it to my house good as new about 6 hours later. Truly unreal service and can’t believe they were able to clean it.

Alex’s dry cleaning was some of the best service I’ve received from any business in quite some time. First, they were very communicative (I forgot I had set my pick up window to 3am-11 and forgot to put my clothes out the night before). they called me twice at 630 am - which was necessary because my phone was on do not disturb and they wouldn’t have gotten through otherwise. I was able to run out and give them my bag instead of having to reschedule which rocked. They also called when they had a question about one of my sweaters. Second, the attention paid to customer service is top notch. They give new customers a welcome gift - a dry cleaning bag, collar stays, a lint roller, etc. just a very sweet, useful, loyalty building gesture you don’t see too often any more. Third, the service was incredibly fast - I’ve never had dry cleaning turn around so quickly. I’ll be honest, because of that I was a little worried about what the quality would be like as a result. But they did a great job! Highly recommend. Definitely on the pricier side but you get what you pay for in terms of service, convenience and speed.

I sent two pairs of jeans in yesterday (Thursday), I really needed them before Saturday AM but due to my own personal issues and schedule, I was not hopeful they could be ready before my trip. They had them ready Friday afternoon! This was great, BUT I was working across the bay and had not thought to have them delivered to my home. Not ONLY did they deliver to my home; They fit me in minutes before closing! This customer service is superb! I will never go anywhere else. That's above and beyond what I expected. Now I have jeans for my weekend trip away from home. Best in the bay!

What a great experience. They picked up cleaning in the morning, with one specific piece that needed special attention, one of my favorite hand made Italian shirts. I washed this at home but left a black business card in the chest pocket which bleed and looked real real bad. I didn’t think anything could be done but wanted to give it a shot. And to my grand surprise, it totally came out. What was really great was that they called prior to the cleaning to alert me that they may not be successful, but I ok’d them to go for it and within the same day they sent me photos and said “we got it out”. Alex's never disappoints. I had two high-priced white linen jackets that had small spots that had aged over several years into brown. I did the unthinkable and tried to treat them myself, which only caused the spots to darken. I sent them to Alex's and they both came out like new. I've used Alex's for upholstery fabrics also. I’m very satisfied with the quality and service by Alex’s Dry Cleaning! They make it so convenient to get your dry cleaning done on your schedule and in a timely manner (usually same day). You just go on their app and schedule a pick up for the next morning, leave your clothing outside in their dedicated laundry bag, and they’ll pick up/clean/deliver it back to you. You can also add special instructions for each article of clothing on the app. I’ve been using them for 2.5 years now for both dry cleaning and alterations. They cater to high end clothing and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for my designer suits, shirts, etc. I recently sent in a peacoat that was pilling and they restored it like it was brand new! Couldn’t be more happy with their work
