Pickup inside the building
When our driver arrives, we let you know. You can bring your items to the lobby, leave them with the 24/7 concierge for us to collect, or — if you prefer — have us come to your apartment. We can deliver finished pieces to your apartment as well. The easiest way is concierge pickup and concierge delivery.
Monday through Friday — next day
Pickups Monday through Friday return the next business day, inside the building.
Saturday pickup, Tuesday return
Saturday pickups are delivered the following Tuesday — the next service day after Sunday, when we are closed.
Couture and designer care
Investment wardrobes — Kiton, Brioni, Loro Piana, Isaia, Charvet, and other designer houses — are inspected first, then hand-finished. We press with care. We do not hard-press, hard-iron, or hard-crease a garment.
Wash and fold, next day too
Everyday laundry rides on the same valet. Wash and fold returns the next business day, Monday through Friday; Saturday pickups return Tuesday. Standard wash and fold is $6.00+ per pound with a 15 lb minimum — a $90 minimum order. Alex's is a couture dry cleaning and premium laundry service. Wash and fold comes on the same door-to-door valet.
Couture and designer garments
This is the work we are known for: bespoke and made-to-measure suiting, cashmere and fine knitwear, silk, evening wear, and shirts that have to come back right. Houses we finish for include Kiton, Brioni, Loro Piana, Isaia, Zegna, Charvet, and Brunello Cucinelli. Every piece is inspected by hand. Fine linens and the rest of the household
Sheets and bedding from Frette, Sferra, and Matouk, plus silk, suede, leather, down, and drapery, ride on the same pickup. Tech and biotech households in this building already send us the pieces that cannot go through a volume plant.
Wash and fold on the same valet
We also wash and fold everyday laundry — tees, gym clothes, towels, the weekday pile — next day, Monday through Friday (Saturday pickups return Tuesday). Many clients keep couture dry cleaning and wash and fold on one account so nothing is left behind. Standard wash and fold is $6.00+ per pound, with a 15 lb minimum, which is a $90 minimum order. 1023 Third Street, also known as The Canyon
The Canyon is a 283-unit residential tower in the Mission Rock development on San Francisco's waterfront. It sits in the Mission Bay neighborhood, near UCSF Mission Bay and the Chase Center. Designed by MVRDV and opened in 2023, it is the first residential building in that new neighborhood.
How the house runs
The lobby is staffed 24/7 with a concierge. Amenities include a co-working lounge, a screening room, a sauna, and a rooftop terrace. Most households here leave a bag at the desk and take it back from the desk — concierge pickup and concierge delivery is the simplest rhythm.
A tech-heavy stretch of the city
Mission Bay and Mission Rock sit between the ballpark, UCSF, and the Chase Center — a stretch of San Francisco that draws people in tech and biotech.
